Useful information for your stay in Thailand
To make your stay in Thailand as comfortable as possible, we have prepared several useful tips and contacts.
Thai phone number and mobile data
For easy communication and connectivity, we recommend getting a Thai SIM card. You can arrange an AIRALO eSIM before departure, or buy a physical SIM card from AIS, DTAC or TrueMove when you arrive at Bangkok airport.
Pre-arrival form
Since 1 May 2025, all non-Thai nationals entering Thailand must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before arrival. It can be submitted within the 3 days before arrival, including the arrival date. The online form replaces the former paper arrival card and supports entry by air, land and sea.
The form asks for passport and personal details, travel information and your accommodation address in Thailand. Complete it in English and keep the confirmation on your phone or as a printed copy in case it is requested on arrival.
Complete the form on the official Thai Immigration website:
Royal Thai Embassy
Before travelling, check the Thai embassy or consulate responsible for your country for current information about visas, entry requirements and travel advice.
Currency exchange
After arrival, you can use airport cash machines (some banks reimburse part of the fee) or visit the SuperRich exchange counter in Market Village shopping centre in Hua Hin. Another option is a transfer to a Thai bank account followed by personal cash collection after arrival.
Healthcare
If you need medical care, we recommend Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin, which has modern facilities and English-speaking staff.

Local assistance
If you have any problems or questions during your stay, a local assistance contact is available to help you find your way around, resolve technical matters in the apartment or communicate with local service providers.
