Night markets
Hua Hin Night Market
The most famous night market in Hua Hin, located right in the city center and open every day from late afternoon until evening (usually from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM). This market not only offers a varied selection Thai food and seafood, but also many other things:
– Thai noodle soups, grilled skewers, fresh fruit, pancakes, smoothies
– stands with clothes, handbags, accessories, souvenirs, hand-painted paintings, costume jewelry
– live music in outdoor restaurants and bars
It's a place where the aroma of food mixes with the Thai atmosphere and where everyone can find something - whether you want to have dinner, buy a small item or just soak up the local energy.
Patio Oldtown Night Market
This smaller night market is located a short distance from the main Night Market, towards the city center. It is relatively a quieter and more intimate place, which resembles a small Spanish square.
You can find here:
– cafes and bars with pleasant seating
– live music in a more subtle way
– the opportunity to have a drink, dessert or dinner without the noise of the main market
It is ideal for those who want to enjoy an evening in a relaxed and stylish atmosphere, without the crowds of tourists.
Cicada Market
Creative and artistic market, open to everyone Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
This market is divided into several sections:
– Art and Craft zone: sale of handmade jewelry, paintings, decorations, clothing
– Food zone: wide range of Thai dishes, desserts, drinks (payment with coupons, so-called cashless system)
– Music & Performance Stage: live music, dance and theater performances
Cicada Market je ideálním místem na sobotní večer, pokud chcete zažít atmosféru "nového" Thajska s uměleckým nádechem.
Tamarind Market
This neighborhood market is located right next to Cicada Market and is focused more on food and music.
It is open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
– fresh seafood, traditional Thai dishes, grilled meats
– chilled beer, cocktails, smoothies
– live bands, relaxed atmosphere
Tamarind Market has a more relaxed atmosphere than Cicada and is perfect for an evening out with friends.
Market Village – Food Zone (B1)
Market Village is one of the largest shopping malls in Hua Hin. On the lowest floor (marked as Floor B) is located extensive food court, where you will find:
– a wide range of traditional Thai food at very reasonable prices
– clean and air-conditioned environment suitable for families with children
– seating, possibility to pay by card or cash
In addition to food, you will also find clothing stores, drugstores, groceries, and pharmacies.
The second largest shopping mall in Hua Hin, more modern and less busy than Market Village. On the ground and first floors you will find:
– food court with local specialties
– known restaurants like Fuji (Japanese), ZEN, Sizzler or MK Restaurant, where you can cook in broth at the table
– air-conditioned environment, pleasant toilets, children's corner
Ideal for lunch or dinner if you are looking for comfort and a variety of international cuisines under one roof.
